The Memory Scroll

After many years of etching, I decided to work in lithography. Both printing techniques use a variety of tools unique to the media. Returning to etching, I was conscious of this and used this as a basis for the images. Each etching panel starts with marks drawn by the same tool I used as the end of the preceding panel,  my hand remembering the tool. The scroll is 8’ x 4”, a continuous piece of Rives paper, not in sections. There are five etchings with some gold leaf.  The box is made of boxwood with stone weights included.
